Care of Garden Plants and Flowers
Good afternoon to all plant lovers and welcome back to the Floriculture blog!
Ideal Substrate Blend and Percentages To provide efficient drainage, proper aeration, and organic nutrition, we used the following substrate mix:
50% Peat Moss: Supplies ideal moisture retention and soft structure.
25% Perlite: Guarantees root aeration and prevents soil compaction.
15% Worm Castings (Humus): Delivers essential organic nutrients for healthy root growth.
10% Pine Needles (Pinocha): Improves long-term soil adaptation, texture, and light acidity.
Key Nutrient Addition: A touch of bone meal, which supplies vital phosphorus to stimulate root development.

Step-by-Step Technical Transplanting Procedure
Substrate Preparation: Thoroughly blend all ingredients until achieving a lightweight, porous soil mixture.
Unpotting Seedlings: Carefully remove the young plants from their propagation pots, preserving the root ball
to prevent transplant shock.
Positioning: Place the seedling in the center of the new pot at its original root depth.
Filling and Securing: Add the prepared potting mix around the plant and gently press to remove air pockets.
Top Dressing: Apply a top layer of worm compost/humus for an extra nutritional boost.
Initial Watering: Water thoroughly to settle the soil around the roots, ensuring proper drainage without
waterlogging.
